Only 79 years later, Utah and Oklahoma State are about to meet for the second time on the football field.
On September 21, the Cowboys will host the newcomers, the Utes, in Oklahoma State’s first Big 12 game of the season. It won’t be Utah, as it faces Baylor in Week 2 to begin its time in the Big 12.
It’s going to be a good year. The Utes are predicted to finish first in the conference despite just joining the Big 12, while the Cowboys are predicted to finish third despite making the finals in 2023. But as any football fan knows, you can’t rest on your laurels too much. This year will be full of surprises, with reshuffles and an extended postseason.
