Art Hearts Fashion Unveils Swim Week Las Vegas Festival with Guest Macy Gray

Las Vegas is known for both its casinos and its pool parties, where swimwear is a must in the summer heat. Miami-based organization Art Hearts Fashion brought swimwear to the desert with its inaugural Swim Week Las Vegas 2024 festival. Over the weekend of August 15-19, the Resorts World Las Vegas hotel hosted a celebration of fashion, creativity and the niche swimwear community.

“We are incredibly grateful to Resorts World for this partnership,” said Erik Rosete, CEO and Founder of Art Hearts Fashion. “Hosting Swim Week Las Vegas in such an iconic location elevates the experience for designers, attendees and the city of Las Vegas.”

The Swim Week Las Vegas festival featured a variety of swimwear brands that pushed the boundaries of design and innovation in the swim category. Runway collections from Azta, Berry Beachy Swimwear, Airstream, Black Tape Project, David Tupaz Couture and Pink Melon Swimwear all showcased their latest looks at Zouk Nightclub on the Resorts World property.

These designers, who have been enchanting the Swim Week catwalks for several seasons, are known for their trend-setting creations that combine functionality with haute couture and offer visitors a first look at what’s new in the swimwear industry.

The Black Tape Project was a unique experience, captivating audiences with its avant-garde approach to performative swimwear style. David Tupaz Couture brought a fresh, bold perspective of a swimwear line to the runway. Berry Beachy Swimwear offers vibrant, beach-ready designs that embody the spirit of summer.

While swimwear is the main attraction, Swim Week Las Vegas also features menswear that showcases how modern masculinity meets swimwear. Mister Triple X, For the Stars, Love For Upcycling and Naughty Boy Golf are just a few designers who showcased their latest menswear collections.

Mister Triple X, known for his edgy, rebellious aesthetic, presented a collection that blends streetwear with tailored fashion elements, using lightweight fabrics and offering eye-catching and wearable pieces. For The Stars presented his signature leather jackets and glittery style, reinterpreted for the modern man, as well as looks for women. Love For Upcycling chose the theme of suit ties for its Las Vegas presentation, repurposing thousands of ties. This antithesis and transformation of an office staple – the tie – was contrasted by the beachy aesthetic of a regenerative swimwear collection.

Art Hearts supports underserved communities and used Las Vegas as a platform to raise awareness. Rosete said, “As part of a shared mission to empower, Art Hearts Fashion and Resorts World are thrilled to host the Autism Pride Center (APC) for its first fashion show at Zouk Nightclub. Everyone deserves the chance to reach their full potential and be recognized as an important, valued member of their community.”

Art Hearts Fashion, in partnership with MMGNET and Resorts World, will elevate the fashion scene with MMGNET Style Oasis: A Fashion Runway Experience. Planned as a satellite event, Style Oasis will be strategically designed to coincide with larger industry gatherings such as MAGIC, PROJECT and Sourcing at MAGIC, ensuring it serves as a key touchpoint for fashion professionals during Las Vegas Fashion Market Week.

The event highlights the importance of providing additional opportunities for the fashion industry to connect, network and showcase their latest designs. As an extension of the already vibrant Swim Week Las Vegas, Style Oasis provides a platform for both established and emerging designers to showcase their collections to a diverse audience of buyers, influencers and industry insiders. By aligning with the wider activities of Market Week, the event increases the visibility of participating brands and also encourages collaboration and innovation within the industry.

Art Hearts Fashion’s inaugural Swim Week Las Vegas Festival concluded with a performance by Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Macy Gray, marking a major milestone for the fashion industry as it brought cutting-edge swimwear and menswear designs to the vibrant Resorts World Las Vegas. As Erik Rosete, CEO and Founder of Art Hearts Fashion, emphasized, the festival is about creating a platform where all voices in the fashion industry are heard and recognized.

Resorts World Las Vegas, known for its luxury and state-of-the-art facilities, provides the perfect backdrop for this high-profile event. Visitors can expect a showcase of cutting-edge fashion, footwear and accessories, with each fashion show highlighting the creativity and craftsmanship that shape today’s fashion landscape. The inclusion of Style Oasis within the larger framework of Las Vegas Fashion Market Week underscores the city’s growing importance as a global fashion capital and reinforces Art Hearts Fashion’s role as a leading force in shaping contemporary fashion experiences.

Ultimately, MMGNET Style Oasis is more than just a fashion show; it is a celebration of fashion’s dynamic evolution and provides a unique intersection where art, commerce and culture come together. As the fashion industry continues to adapt and innovate, events like Style Oasis ensure that creativity remains at the forefront and provide an important space for designers to engage with the world.
