Collider has learned that JohnWick 5 will not Filming for the film will begin next year, although there are reports to the contrary that production on the film will begin sometime in 2025. Sources have confirmed to us that while plans for a fifth film could still come to fruition, it is not going to happen at the moment. If a fifth film in the series is made, it will Chad Stahelski Directing, and no other names. Stahelski’s entire focus, creatively and spiritually, is on directing, writing and producing Highlanders. Shooting for this film will begin early next year in Scotland. Henry Cavill in the leading role.

Stahelski was recently appointed in a special role at Lionsgate to oversee the sequel to both John Wick And Highlanders franchises, thanks to his excellent work with the studio. Ian McShane takes on the role of Winston Scott again, as do Reeves and the late Lance Reddick — next summer, but that was it for the film side of the wick Universe as things stand.

How did “John Wick 4” end?

John Wick: Chapter 4 ended with a gripping, action-packed and, above all, ambiguous ending. After John had fought his way through numerous enemies (Keanu Reeves) finally confronted the Marquis (Bill Skarsgard), who managed to outmaneuver him in an exciting duel.

The victory came at a high price, however, as John was apparently left seriously wounded. He stumbled away and appeared to succumb to his injuries, leaving viewers guessing as to his fate. The mystery deepened with a post-credits scene in which Akira, seeking vengeance for her father’s death, approached Caine (Donnie Yen) with a knife, creating potential new conflicts and stories in the John Wick Universe. Yen is reportedly set to reprise his role as Caine in a spin-off film.
