Tonight is a super blue moon, and if you’re looking for fun ways to celebrate this rare astronomical phenomenon, we’ve got a list for you.

Listen to the song “Blue Moon”

The 1934 song “Blue Moon” has been sung by Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, the Beatles and many others. The song is a great song to listen to on a night when the moon is blue.

There are several films called Blue Moon, a TV movie from 1999, a dramedy from 2000, a thriller from 2018, most recently a thriller from 2021, and even a few others.

Drink Blue Moon Beer

If you’re 21 or older, you can also celebrate the Super Blue Moon with a pack of the aptly named Blue Moon beer. Please drink responsibly and do not drive under the influence.

This treat isn’t necessarily specific to the Blue Moon (unless you like the blueberry flavor), but it’s a great snack any time there’s a moon-related event happening.
