Austin Butler rings in his 33rd birthday with a stroll through New York with Kaia Gerber

Austin Butler celebrated his birthday with his girlfriend Kaia Gerber by his side.

The Dune – Part Two The actor, who turned 33 on Saturday, August 17, took a stroll through Manhattan with his 22-year-old supermodel girlfriend on his big day.

The couple was spotted holding hands, both wearing matching white tops, with Butler pairing his shirt with dark green pants and a blue baseball cap, while Gerber wore dark blue pants and black sunglasses.

Butler and Gerber were previously spotted together in New York City at the opening of the Broadway show Oh, Mary on July 11th.

After the duo spent Memorial Day weekend in the city in May and were spotted on a date, a source told PEOPLE at the time: “Kaia and Austin are on a hot streak.”

“They held hands the whole way to dinner and stopped and hugged a few times before heading out to a club (on May 24),” the insider added. “They definitely looked happy and in love.”

Rumors of a romance between the couple first emerged in December 2021, when the two were spotted together at a yoga class.

Last month, Gerber’s mother, Cindy Crawford, spoke briefly about her daughter’s boyfriend when she asked about the Apparently he couldn’t get rid of the star’s famous Elvis Presley accent.

“I… That’s Austin to me,” Crawford, 58, said during the July 2024 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

“He was Elvis for so long that I think it just stuck,” she added.
