“Can’t believe it”: Chris Pratt sends warm congratulations on his son Jack’s 12th birthday

Chris Pratt, the face of Star Lord, took to Instagram to write a sweet message for his 12-year-old son Jack on his birthday and also shared some never-before-seen photos of him on a farm. “Happy birthday my beautiful son Jack. I thank God every day for you sweet boy,” Pratt wrote alongside several photos of Jack, which also include him feeding the animals on the farm. Pratt then listed some of the qualities he admires in the boy, calling him “smart, hilarious, kind, considerate, trustworthy and tough.”

Fans and friends left their wishes in the comments section.

In the first shot, we see Pratt and Jack standing side by side as the younger boy feeds the cows, and in another, he cuddles lovingly with a black sheep. Pratt shares the 12-year-old with his ex-wife Anna Faris, and he is also father to Lyla Maria and Eloise Christina, whom he shares with his current wife Katherine Schwarzenegger. The couple are also expecting their third child.

Now a father of two little girls, he once jokingly commented on what it was like for him to be a father of girls. In one of those posts, Pratt can be seen with jewels on his forehead. “All I can say is… Jack would never do that to me,” he jokes about the situation.

Jack has been supportive of his father and his acting career, often visiting him on set. As he told PEOPLE magazine, Jack was thrilled when he first heard Pratt’s voice in the Super Mario Bros. movie last year. Pratt voiced the titular Mario and the film was a huge hit with his son and his friends. “He took all his friends and went completely crazy,” Pratt boasts to the outlet.

Last August, Pratt and Jack spent some quality father-son time at Los Angeles Dodgers games. The two stormed the field when the Marvel alumnus was asked to throw out the first pitch to LA Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw. Pratt shared a lengthy caption thanking the team for the experience, along with snaps of him and his son wearing the same jersey that had “Pratt” written on it.
