An Air India flight attendant was reportedly attacked in her London hotel room. The airline has confirmed the break-in, but some reports suggest the employee may have been physically attacked.
Last night, Air India released a statement on the “unlawful break-in” at a London hotel. The airline said it was offering immediate support, including professional counselling, to help the affected crew member and her colleagues cope with the distressing event.

“We are deeply concerned about the unlawful break-in at a hotel belonging to a major international chain, in which a member of our crew was involved. We are offering our colleague and the entire team all possible support, including professional advice,” the airline said in a statement.
Air India has asked that the privacy of the crew member involved be respected as the incident is currently being investigated by London police. The airline also confirmed that it is fully cooperating with local authorities to ensure a thorough investigation.

The airline has not made any official statement regarding reports that the crew member may have been raped.
