Madonna celebrates her 66th birthday in Italy with alleged boyfriend and her twins: “Happy birthday to me”

Madonna celebrated her 66th birthday with friends and family in Pompeii, Italy. Together with the local young people, she was involved in an art project that she sponsored.

According to a press release, the singer of Like A Prayer, who just turned 66, spent the day last Friday with members of Sogno di Volare (Dream of Flying), a project that allows young people from surrounding towns to perform classical pieces in the amphitheater of the Archaeological Park of Pompeii.

According to People, Madonna arrived at the archaeological site to the cheers of her fans, accompanied by about 30 people, including her alleged boyfriend, soccer player Akeem Morris, and her 11-year-old twin daughters Estere and Stella.

She also commemorated the occasion on Instagram by posting glamorous photos of herself and her children, as well as a shirtless Morris, with the caption: “Back in Italy… Happy birthday to ME.”

At about 10:30 that evening, Madonna and her companions arrived at the park, where they had been waiting since 6 p.m., the newspaper said. The crowd of about two hundred sang and danced to some of her songs while waiting for her arrival.

Gabriel Zuchtriegel, the park’s director, led the singing superstar and her family through the ancient site, where there were also various performances. Some teenagers and young children participating in the Dream of Flying program funded by Madonna sang for her in Italian, Neapolitan and English.

The entire project is being funded by the Queen of Pop through the Ray of Light Foundation until 2025 and aims to involve locals in the cultural life of Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Zuchtriegel thanked Madonna for her generosity and said the singer’s philanthropy shows how art and culture can impact the lives of young people in particular in this complex region.

He also expressed his appreciation for the pop icon’s generosity, vision and charity, noting that it will continue to be an inspiration to him in the future.

On August 16, Madonna was spotted in Italy arriving by boat at a private location in Portofino. According to Italian media, it is believed to be a private estate owned by Dolce & Gabbana. While Estere and Stella accompanied her and Morris to Pompeii, her other children – Lourdes (27), Rocco (24), David (18) and Mercy (18) – were conspicuously missing.
