Some Deadpool and Wolverine Concept art has been shared online and the images offer some alternative designs for Wesley Snipe‘s blade.
The first piece comes from the conceptual artist John Dustand his version is very similar to the live-action look of the character. About the artistic implementation he said:
“Approved #Blade concept with @realwesleysnipes himself for the #DeadpoolandWolverine movie. Was so excited to be a part of bringing back one of the beloved characters.
“The final design was created in collaboration with the costume department led by @mayesrubeo and her team. It was a true passion to find a good balance so that the look feels familiar to fans, but at the same time updated for the new film.”

The other art comes from Rodney Fuentebella and offers a very different alternative design for Blade. He said of his art:
“Hi everyone. I did an early concept piece for a very awesome character, Blade, in the new Deadpool and Wolverine movie @marvelstudios. I wanted a slightly more worn down Blade who has seen and done a lot to survive.
