NWA has announced a new four-way match for NWA 76. The company announced that Burchill, Mims, Carson Drake and Bryan Idol will compete at the show, which takes place on August 31 in Philadelphia.

“NWA 76” adds four-way heavyweight bout
NWA 76 on August 31st in Philadelphia will see another big battle.

Four heavyweights eager to get into title contention will face off on the National Wrestling Alliance’s biggest night of the year. Burchill, who was just signed to the NWA’s anniversary celebration, “Big Strong” Mims, who is managed by Blk Jeez, Carson Drake and Bryan Idol will face off at Philly’s 2300 Arena.

All four men are already top contenders for every championship in the National Wrestling Alliance, but NWA 76 provides each of them with a launching pad to glory, as a win at the company’s biggest signature live event of the year all but guarantees them a shot at the title in the future.

“Every participant in this match is a serious contender for the National Wrestling Alliance title and some have come close on more than one occasion,” said Joe Galli, Chief Operating Officer of the NWA.

“This match offers everyone a chance to shine at the most exciting and anticipated NWA event of the year – and show why they deserve another chance,” he continued. “The man who gets this signature win at NWA 76 should be immediately included in future title conversations.”

It could be just what “Big Strong” Mims needs to get back on his feet. Losing the NWA World Television Title earlier this year and failing to regain it has shaken MIMS’ confidence. Now, under the leadership of Blk Jeez, a new, more aggressive MIMS enters the fray.

Likewise, after recently signing with the NWA, Burchill has announced his intention to win NWA gold. Attempts to capture the national title failed earlier this year, but NWA 76 could be just the “fresh start” he needs.

The ever controversial Bryan Idol has yet to fully enter the ongoing NWA title fight. After making his internal struggles and strong opinions about the company known on the reality series Billy Corgan’s Adventures in Carnyland, could he have his “breakthrough” on August 31st?

Finally, Carson Drake has become one of the NWA’s most obnoxious new faces. Despite his saccharine “Cooking With Carson” segments on recent NWA Powerrr shows, the talented fighter is the newest addition to the NWA roster, but has already challenged NWA World Champion EC3 in the Exodus Pro division. This match is an opportunity for the relative newcomer to establish himself as a contender within the NWA itself.

The stakes are high when all four clash in Philadelphia on August 31st as NWA 76 celebrates the founding of the National Wrestling Alliance in 1948 with the company’s biggest signature live event of the year. Commemorate nearly eight decades of “history, legacy and tradition” with a night of hard-hitting pro wrestling action at Philly’s legendary 2300 Arena, an evening of affordable memories and fun for the whole family.

The entrance fee includes the opportunity to meet and talk to the NWA stars before the event begins. Tickets are available now.
