Songwriter and singer Hayley May signs publishing deal with Prescription Songs

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) – Leading independent publishing house Prescription Songs has announced the recent signing of artist, songwriter and singer Hayley could. Added to the company’s roster by Prescription Songs A&R Cameron KooklanfarCould’s soulful vocals and rich tone, coupled with her skillful songwriting, have earned her collaborations with a number of high-profile artists and producers in dance music, including Tiesto, John Summit, And Dillon Francisamong other things.

Hailing from Yorkshire and now based primarily in London, Could entered the music business in 2019 after giving up her full-time job to pursue her dream. Could’s love and enthusiasm for music shines through her writing and unique voice, giving her offering a soulful and rich texture that combines so well. Her influences range from Motown, Soul and R&B, with Prince, Lauryn Hill And Al Green as some of her biggest influences. Her love for this style has shaped her sound and she has managed to incorporate it into the dance world. With over 200 million streams on Spotify alone, May’s voice is definitely heard far and wide.

Could’s first big break came after singing on Joel Corrys Double platinum single Excuse me, which reached number 6 in the UK Singles Chart. Since then, she has been involved in a number of successful hits, including her unique voice and songwriting for “Never Let Me Down”, the lead track for Gorgon Metropolis album OlympicsThe various collaborations presented include Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Sonny Fodera, John Summit, cheat codes And Dillon Francisto name just a few. Could has recently written and delivered for some world-renowned acts that resemble Misplaced Frequencies, David Guetta And Tiesto and with the release of her second solo single “Need U,” which reached nearly 10 million streams, there’s much more to come from May.
