“All-Americans” on the candidate list for the John Mackey Award

On Friday afternoon, the list of candidates for the 2024 John Mackey Award was released. The award is given annually to the most outstanding college tight end.

Four former All-American Bowl athletes were placed on the watch list.

· Jalin Conyers (Texas Tech)

· Oscar Delp (Georgia)

· Thomas Fidone (Nebraska)

· Moliki Matavao (UCLA)

Watch the annual East vs. West clash on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The All-American Bowl will be nationally televised, live on NBC and Peacock at 1 p.m. ET, and will feature the top 100 high school football players in the country.
