Mark Henry reveals the current problem in the AEW locker room

AEW has seen several departures recently, with Mark Henry being one of the latest to become a free agent after his contract expired. Although he is no longer with AEW, Henry wishes everyone in the company the best.

The differences between WWE and AEW are obvious, especially from an outsider’s perspective. Mark Henry, who has spent time in both companies, has a more nuanced understanding.

In an interview with MadMacDavis, Henry was asked about the differences between the WWE and AEW locker rooms. He expressed his hopes for AEW’s success, but also acknowledged that there is a competitive atmosphere in the AEW locker room.

“In some ways, the newer companies have people who don’t want to be overshadowed by the people who have come in, and that’s just backwards thinking. Hopefully they get that under control, but it starts at the top. If they don’t get that under control, I don’t think they’re going to do as well as they could.

“I wish them well. I don’t want them to walk away because that would hurt the guys. I want the guys to have an impact, so I pray for AEW to be successful for the simple reason that I want all these guys to realize that we all work for each other and the companies are just the ones paying us. Your loyalty should be to the person whose life is in your hands, so I work for every step I take in the ring. I work for the guy. That mentality has to come back.”

Mark Henry continues his work at Busted Open Radio where he shares his opinions. He has always been known for speaking his mind regardless of who he happens to agree with.

We will have to see what happens with AEW in the future. The company is going through an interesting period in its history. They may get some more reinforcements for their locker room, but they are not bringing Mark Henry’s son on board.

Mark Henry’s son Jacob Henry recently signed a NIL contract with WWE, as announced during the Remix Rumble event. While Jacob won’t be joining WWE immediately, he will be under contract while wrestling for the University of Oklahoma. The World’s Strongest Man is clearly proud of his son’s next steps.

What do you think of Mark Henry’s time in AEW? Do you think the company could have used him better? Would you like to see him return to WWE? Will Jacob Henry live up to his father’s legacy? Share your thoughts in the comments section!
