Ernesto is NOW a hurricane

As of 11:00 a.m. AST, the NHC reports that Ernesto is now a hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 75 mph. This was reported by the Air Force Reserve and NOAA Hurricane Hunters. The pressure is at 991 mb, which is 5 mb less than the 5:00 a.m. AST warning. Ernesto’s center is about 175 miles northwest of San Juan, Puerto Rico.
