Simone Biles shares photos of the construction progress of her Texas villa, which she is building with her husband after the Olympics

Simone Biles’ house construction has made great progress while she’s been busy winning gold medals!

On Tuesday, August 13, Biles, 27, shared her first update on the construction progress of her and husband Jonathan Owens’ Texas mansion since returning from the 2024 Olympics in new photos posted to her Instagram Stories.

The post included a series of “đź‘€” emojis while showing various shots of rooms in the couple’s home with matching white walls and decorations that appeared to be almost finished.

One photo showed her new kitchen, with the waterfall-style island clad in dramatically veined black and white stone. The countertops and backsplash are clad in the same design, while a gold light fixture and softly glowing coffered ceiling add even more glamour.

Biles also took a selfie while standing in front of a wall covered in floor-to-ceiling mirrors in a room — possibly a future home gym — while building materials and wooden boards lay on the floor to the side.

Another photo showed a room with white tiled floors, white and gray marble walls, and a large window behind which there appears to be a huge walk-in shower.

Biles revealed her dressing room, which looked almost finished, in the final photo. It features white dressers and glass shelves on the walls, as well as an island with gold handles in the middle of the room.

On Monday, August 12, Biles announced that she was finally home after her epic performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she won three gold medals and one silver.

She and her husband, an NFL star, first documented the construction process of their new home on social media in September 2023, five months after the wedding.

Biles continued to keep her fans updated on the renovation, showing off the geometric designs of the walls and floors, her stunning kitchen, and a wooden staircase with black details on the railing.

The athlete also spoke openly about the less glamorous aspects of her home-building project, such as when she suffered a minor setback in November 2023.

“Yesterday I was here from 11am to 5pm…🥴. I thought it would only take 30 minutes because I had no idea what to expect,” she said at the time.

While she did not reveal details about the problem, she said she had “made progress” after asking her father for help.

“I asked my dad for support yesterday because I was panicking! But I’ve made so much progress and I’m so proud of myself. Jonathan will take care of the final result, oops… I hope I did it properly and thought of everything,” she added.
