A recent shot on the set of “Deadpool” (Fameflynet Pictures)
It took years of continuous support from fans to Dead Pool green light, and now fans are being rewarded for their patience and persistence with numerous photos from the set of the film production in Vancouver.

Paparazzi snooped on director Tim Miller’s set and snapped some particularly revealing photos of Reynolds and his stunt double as the Merc with a Mouth over the weekend. Above, you can see that the costume stays true to the character’s comic book outfit (he may have super-healing powers, but his red suit can take a beating). Perhaps more importantly, in the photo below, you can see that the film is entirely focused on the horrific facial scars that Deadpool’s alter ego Wade Wilson received when he gained his super-healing powers.

As mentioned in the blog VanCity BuzzAction scenes were filmed over the weekend. In the photo below, Reynolds’ stunt double jumps over an overturned car on a hidden trampoline (not pictured here, but check out the blog for more pictures).
