Magic Cat Publishing has hired Anette Dal Jensen for a newly created position as Director of Sales and Business Development in the USAafter seven years at Macmillan Children’s Books.
At Magic Cat, an independent children’s book publisher based in east London, Dal Jensen will oversee distribution in North America, where the company’s growing partnership with Abrams has expanded significantly over the past year.
Dal Jensen will also be responsible for Developing new business and direct sales opportunities for Magic Cat as the company continues to seek growth opportunities in the UK and US.
Dal Jensen plays a central role in Magic Cat’s English-language sales and marketing strategy and will join the company, along with a new UK sales director, in the run-up to this year’s Frankfurt Book Fair.
