Bowling Green man arrested for drunk driving after collision

BOWLING GREEN, Kentucky – A Bowling Green man is facing charges for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

According to a unified report, Bowling Green police responded to the scene on Elrod Road at around 7:22 p.m. on Sunday.

According to police, Adis Cerimovic, 33, of Bowling Green was driving a car when he crashed into the back of a pickup truck pulling a trailer.

When contacting Cerimovic, the police stated that his pronunciation indicated alcohol consumption and his breath smelled of alcohol.

Police believe Cerimovic was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol based on their observations and the sobriety tests conducted.

According to police, the driver of the other vehicle suffered a minor head injury in the collision.

According to police, the damage to the other vehicle was over $500.

According to police, one of Cerimovic’s passengers was present at the time of the collision.

Cerimovic was transported to the Medical Center in Bowling Green for medical release before being booked into the Warren County Detention Center.

He is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a first offense, first-degree criminal damage and second-degree reckless endangerment,
