NFL analyst compares Dallas Cowboys to “Toy Story 5” in a confused tirade

NFL analyst compares Dallas Cowboys to “Toy Story 5” in a confused tirade

Kyle Brandt has seen this movie before and has no interest in watching a sequel. That’s how he described the Dallas Cowboys, who deliver the same drama year after year.

The Good Morning Football host is known for his high-energy commentary, but when it came to the Cowboys’ situation, he lost his way – even by his standards.

While addressing the topic of contract disputes surrounding CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott, Brandt said we’ve seen this before with Prescott, Zack Martin and Ezekiel Elliott. He even went back to the 1990s with Emmitt Smith and said Jerry Jones always tried to give his players lowball deals while telling fans he was doing whatever he could to produce a winner.

This led to a comparison with Disney’s unveiling of “Toy Story 5”, while simultaneously trying to market the idea as new.

There were some golden touches in this one, as he pointed out that Dallas has given us one sequel after another – a season of hope followed by a playoff loss. In the meantime, he adds, the star wide receiver is openly laughing at the owner on social media.

He even acknowledged the main problem. Although he’s not excited about Zootopia 2 or Incredibles 3, Brandt said, “Take my money.” As long as the money keeps coming in, Disney doesn’t need to come up with the next great idea.

The same goes for Jones. Until the fans get fed up and stop lining his pockets, there’s no reason for him to change.
