Green Bay Packers 2024 season preview
The first year without Aaron Rodgers was a resounding success. Jordan Love led the Green Bay Packers to a 9-8 record and a playoff victory over the Dallas Cowboys. It started slowly, with the Packers only 2-5 after seven games. Then they really got going and went on a great run to end the season.
The Packers are known for being quiet when it comes to free agency, and that was the case again this year, with one major exception. They brought in free agent running back Josh Jacobs from the Las Vegas Raiders to replace the departing Aaron Jones. That’s a big addition at the running back position that adds to an already strong offense.
They keep all the other major pieces of the offense in place, with the question of who will emerge as their best receivers. Four guys showed great potential and the Packers would like to see them all contribute. Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed and Dontayvian Wicks all showed the ability to be the No. 1 at the position.
The Green Bay Packers were the youngest team in the NFL last season. Fans are happy to see that most of their key players are returning with another year of experience under their belt. The team has continued to improve throughout the season, a positive sign for the future.
