Was that a long read? I’ll make it easier…
What is the story
Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who turned 39 on Sunday, received a generous birthday gift from imprisoned conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar.
The gift reportedly included a luxurious yacht and 100 iPhone 15 Pros for her fans.
The yacht, named “Lady Jacqueline,” is reportedly the same one that Fernandez chose in 2021.
In his letter to the actress, Chandrasekhar assured her that the yacht would be delivered this month and all taxes would be paid.
‘My baby… my Bomma’: Chandrasekhar’s heartfelt letter to Fernandez
In his letter to Fernandez, the fraudster expressed his deep affection and admiration for her.
He addressed her as “My little girl, my Bomma” and added: “Baby, as I always say, people get older every year, but you get younger and even prettier every year.”
“Baby, this is my favorite holiday of the year that I wait for: ‘Celebrating You’. One more year of this holiday without us celebrating together, but our minds and our souls are connected.”
iPhone gift for Fernandez’ fans
Chandrasekhar also announced that she would give away 100 iPhone 15 Pro devices to Fernandez’s fans as a token of gratitude for her significant role in the creation of her song Yimmy, Yimmy a hit.
The winners will be selected by his team on YouTube.
He concluded, “They say there’s light at the end of the tunnel, but I say my Jackie is my light waiting for me at the end of the tunnel. I love you, my baby.”
Chandrashekhar’s philanthropic promise for the landslide victims
Apart from the yacht, Chandrasekhar also pledged a donation of a whopping Rs 15 million ($2 million) for the welfare of the victims of the landslide in Wayanad, Kerala.
He also committed to providing 300 apartments to the victims of the disaster.
In his note, he stressed, “I know no jet, no yacht, no Birkin silver or diamonds will make you happier than helping the needy. Therefore, I have deployed a complete team to work with the Government of Kerala to implement the proposal promised above on this special day.”
Chandrashekhar’s arrest and pending cases
Chandrasekhar was arrested on May 29, 2015 for cheating and criminal conspiracy under Sections 420 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code.
In addition, his arrest was also linked to violations of the Price Chips and Money Circulation Schemes Prohibition Act and the Maharashtra State Act for Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Institutions).
Although he was released on bail by the Bombay High Court last month, he is still in jail as numerous other cases are pending against him.
