Disney has revealed a handful of surprises for moviegoers. In the three-hour presentation, the studio delivered trailers, first looks and big announcements of films that no one expected.
While the big reveals were enough to dominate the evening, it was the star performances and entertaining performances that made the evening truly unforgettable.
During the ultimate fan event at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Disney World and its subsidiaries including Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and others revealed what they have in store for their millions of fans.

The trailer of Mufasa – The Lion King was released at the event. The upcoming film, directed by Barry Jenkins, focuses on Mufasa’s early life and how he became the King of the Pride Lands. The trailer, however, focuses on Mufasa and his best buddy Taka aka Scar.
The story of Snow White will hit the big screen on March 21, 2025.
The trailer for the live-action film stars Rachel Zegler in the title role, while Gal Gadot will play the evil queen. In the released trailer, Rachel sings and dances around as Snow White with her dwarves, while Gal takes on a dark avatar of the queen.
Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan took the stage to reveal the title of the sequel to the 2003 film: Crazy FridayIn the film, Curtis and Lohan will reprise their roles as Tess and Anna.
According to Walt Disney Studios, “The new film picks up years after the identity crisis experienced by Curtis and Lohan’s characters Tess and Anna: Anna has a daughter of her own and soon to be a stepdaughter. As they navigate the challenges of merging two families, they discover that lightning really can strike twice.”
Vaiana 2 – The Great Adventure
The trailer of the highly anticipated film Vaiana 2 – The Great Adventure was unveiled at Disney D23 in the presence of Dwayne Johnson, who voices Maui, the giant demigod. The trailer takes audiences back to the world of Moana and the adventures she will experience.
Avatar: Fire and Ashes
It’s time for Avatar 3! Director James Cameron has announced the title of the third Avatar film starring Zoe Saldana and Sam Worthington. The film will be released on December 19, 2025.
