The colour mint is popping up everywhere, from the catwalk to the interior. Here’s a look at nine chic living spacesin the top color trend of the season.
1. Mint colored living room
To bring a sense of nature into a New York living room, designer Fawn Galli used a custom mint green: “I don’t think a color on a wall should be too saturated or too bold.” Buddy + Blacksmith Chairs in cheetah print safari by Manuel Canovas – with a Paley sofa from Profilea Fiona Curran Palette rug for the Carpet companyand a painting by Anne Siems give the room “a feeling of fairytale fantasy”.

2. Mint makeover
Designer Kathryn Ireland brought bright colors and a relaxed atmosphere to this 1928 Spanish style cottagewhich gives the kitchen a new look. Hinged windows open the kitchen to the terrace. Pendant lights from Liz’s Antiques. Custom tiles from Mission Tile West.

3. Traditional green bedroom
In the master bedroom of this House in Palm Beach by designer Allison Paladinio, a bed by Drexel Heritage’s Postobello Collection and bedside tables by Thomas Pheasant for Baker are “rich and elegant” in front of the walls decorated with Benjamin Moore’s Mesquite. Sofa is covered with Cowtan & Tout’s linen with hanging leaves.

4. Mint green kitchen
In this Californian kitchen by designer Madeline Stuart, the cabinets are painted in the Benjamin Moore style. Sherwood Green. The islands are painted black “to ground the space and tie everything together,” says Stuart. Aquamarine marble on the counters of Module Marble. 5. Spring Mint
For the living room of a traditional Apartment in New YorkDesigner Todd Klein chose a light, cool green. “If you think of a house as the seasons, then the living room is spring,” says Klein. Graphic black and white fabrics from Chinese Seas-Macoco Reverse on the sofa and Potalla Background on the cushion – “adds a touch of youthfulness and whimsy.” The walls are in Vreeland Mint and the trim in white, both in Brilliant, from Fine colors of Europe.

6. Modern mint green bedroom
Canopy beds are a favorite of designer Timothy Whealon, “as long as they are not too clad. I like air and space. This is a cozy, clean, modern bedroom with classic lines.” New York apartment’s bedroom, he chose Farrow & Ball‘s Parma grey on the walls because it contrasts the green tones of the cushions and the bench with the turquoise of the 1960s lamps.

7. Strong green winter garden
In this seaside House in Palm BeachDesigner Allison Paladino stained the living room walls a light green to catch the light and painted the woodwork white to calm it. “The bright green in the sunroom is bold, but the space is actually quite relaxing because I limited the palette to green and white to create calm,” she says. “If I had added another color, the space would be restless.” Ficks Reeds St. Denis lounge chairs and ottomans are upholstered in Woodland Fern and Baker slipper chairs are upholstered in Monterey in Citron Green; both fabrics by Brunschwig & Fils. 9. The great outdoors
For a Florida bedroom, designer Jennifer Garrigues paired Poter Paints’ Parsley Tint 6998-1 with Benjamin Moore’s Cloud White 967 for trim. “This pale aquamarine green is like the ocean when it’s so clear you can see the sand through the water. It reminds me of vacations and sunshine and how calm you feel when you sit on the shore and watch the waves break,” she says.
