Applebee’s brings back the popular All You Can Eat deal for

This casual restaurant chain wants to whet your appetite for the New Year.

On January 8, Applebee’s announced the highly anticipated return of its All You Can Eat offering. Customers can once again put on their eating pants and feast on a feast of All You Can Eat Boneless Wings—but this time also including endless riblets and Double Crunch Shrimp—for $14.99.

Once you’ve chosen your first all-you-can-eat meal, you can switch it up for your second meal, and so on. That means you can start with Double Crunch Shrimp, move on to Boneless Wings, then grab a plate of Riblets, and go back to Boneless Wings if you want.

Or you can make it an endless Double Crunch Shrimp night. The world is your oyster (if oysters were crispy shrimp, of course).

Here’s what you get in every all-you-can-eat meal, which also comes with equally endless portions of classic French fries and coleslaw:

  • Boneless wings: The All You Can Eat Boneless Wings feature crispy breaded boneless chicken pieces tossed in one of six sauces of the customer’s choice: Classic Buffalo, Honey BBQ, Sweet Asian Chile, Garlic Parmesan, Extra Hot Buffalo or Honey Pepper. This dish is served with coleslaw, endless classic fries and your choice of blue cheese or homemade buttermilk ranch dressing.

  • Ribs: Applebee’s All You Can Eat Riblets are cut from pork, slow cooked and finished with Honey BBQ or sweet Asian chili sauce. This dish is served with coleslaw and endless classic fries.

  • Double crispy prawns: “All You Can Eat Double Crunch Shrimp” consists of crispy breaded shrimp, fried until golden brown and served with cocktail sauce, signature coleslaw and endless classic fries.

“We know America loves our All You Can Eat Boneless Wings – so what better way to start the year than bringing them back, PLUS endless riblets and double crunch shrimp?” said Joel Yashinsky, Applebee’s chief marketing officer, in a press release. “Whether you mix and match or stick with it and enjoy your favorite protein, you can’t go wrong!”

People online reacted with palpable excitement to the news of the return of Applebee’s all-you-can-eat offering.

“APPLEBEES ALL YOU CAN EAT IS BACK, MAN, YOUR STATIONS, RED ALERT‼️ 🚨🚨🚨” wrote A visibly agitated X-user with an image of a werewolf in mid-transformation, giving a hint as to how much this person intends to eat at once.

“Tomorrow Applebees could be next! Damn, they’ve brought back the all-you-can-eat ribs, chicken and shrimp.” wrote another interested person.

If you need something to wash down all that finger food, Applebee’s has also launched mezcal in the chain with three new cocktails: the Breaking Rock Rita with Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston’s Dos Hombres Mezcal, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Teremana Blanco Tequila, blue curacao, lime and a sky blue sugar rim (an homage to “Breaking Bad”); the Passion Fruit Mezcal Rita with passion fruit, Dos Hombres Mezcal, Teremana Blanco Tequila, triple sec, lime and a “gummy bear garnish”; and the Classic Mezcal Rita with house margarita mix, Dos Hombres Mezcal, Teremana Blanco Tequila, triple sec and lime.

Applebee’s has obviously been hard at work on its menu lately. In addition to the limited-time reintroduction of the Dollarita, the chain has been testing over 200 new menu items.

While Applebee’s is keeping quiet about the details of the tests, a spokesperson for the chain said that one dish – the Quesadilla Chicken Salad – is already on the menu.
