Get ready for a day of fun, discovery and lots of joy! We’ve put together an event for all ages and the best part: it’s absolutely free! Here’s a little taste of what to expect:
🌟 Pop-up Shops and Vendors: With 50+ attendees, explore a world of size-inclusive fashion, personal care and home goods made by skilled plus-size artisans and local businesses. Discover one-of-a-kind treasures, your new favorite outfit, and fabulous small businesses creating from the heart.
🎨 Art and Makers: Immerse yourself in a kaleidoscope of creativity as artists and makers showcase their extraordinary talents. From painters to writers, crafters to podcasters, be inspired and inspired by Portland’s plus-size artists.
🌈 Fat-Friendly Organizations and Resource Providers: We’re all about inclusivity and mutual support! Connect with organizations and resource providers that celebrate body diversity, self-kindness, and overall wellness. Discover new activities and strengthen your self-care team by meeting the people here who make it happen!
🍔 Food, Drink and Music: Treat your taste buds to an array of delicious delicacies. Enjoy delicious food from Old Town Brewing, Masala Lab PDX, Curious Comedy’s Bar and MABAW Non-Alcoholic Bar. Relax to beats from DJ Switch, who provides the soundtrack for a perfect afternoon.
🎉 Crafts, Activities, and Fun: Grab some friends and hang out! Do some crafts, play yard games, snuggle with therapy goats, come to our AC for drag bingo, watch comedy singer/songwriter duo Griefcat perform, and stick around at SpeedFriending to meet a new friend or two!
😷 Mask up, spread the love: We care about your safety and well-being, so wearing masks is encouraged. Let’s show our love for the community by taking these extra steps to protect each other and make this event a safer place for everyone. Masks will be available at the Curious Comedy Theater reception booth and front door.
