Maserati reached a historic milestone during Monterey Car Week at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
Maserati’s MCXtrema, the most powerful supercar designed exclusively for the track, made its North American debut with a ceremonial first delivery to a customer. This is the MCXtrema’s first appearance on U.S. soil.
The Maserati MCXtrema features a 730 hp 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo Nettuno engine.
At the handover ceremony, Maserati chief test driver Andrea Bertolini drove the MCXtrema on the legendary race track. Andrea then handed the MCXtrema over to its new owner.
Bertolini, a prominent figure in GT racing, stressed the importance of the event and spoke in detail about the careful development of the MCXtrema from concept to reality.
Giovanni Sgro, Head of Maserati Corse, expressed his pride at this milestone and stressed that the MCXtrema represents Maserati’s combination of advanced technology and Italian craftsmanship.
