After Bivouac blew a 13-point lead at halftime, things looked bleak heading into Sunday’s BIG3 championship game against 3’s Company.
But at the decisive moment, the team gave it their all, won 50:47 and took the title.
After trailing 26-13 at halftime, 2024 league MVP Michael Beasley led a furious comeback for 3’s Company in the second half, helping them to a 47-46 lead. Undeterred, Corey Brewer put Bivouac back in front with two free throws and stole a ball on the ensuing possession that led to a game-winning bank shot by Garlon Green that clinched the title.
Former NBA veteran Gerald Green led Bivouac with 18 points on six three-pointers and was named MVP of the title game.
