Simone Biles teams up with Snoop Dogg to give dad Ronald Biles a birthday present

Simone Biles and Snoop Dogg are now working together, but not for the reasons you might think: The two recently surprised SB’s dad on his birthday.

The Olympic star and the legendary rapper collaborated to make Ronald Biles’ 75th birthday the best he’s ever had.

Simone, who won three gold medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics, celebrated her father’s big day on her Instagram story on Thursday, sharing a photo of him beaming, wearing glittery sunglasses and writing “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” in capital letters.

Later that same day, Simone shared an Instagram photo of herself wearing the same sunglasses as Ron and a GOAT necklace around her neck. There’s no question that Simone is the “greatest gymnast of all time.”

Then came the biggest surprise. Simone’s sister Adria Biles shared her own Instagram photo of Ron wearing a gold Death Row Records chain, gifted by none other than Snoop!

Adria posted a nice message saying, “Snoop gave him a chain, now he doesn’t know how to act.” She also wished Ron a happy 75th birthday.

The Biles family later celebrated Ronald while watching the track and field championships from their suite. Ronald, seen in a snap uploaded to Simone’s Instagram stories, proudly wears a red Team USA helmet and holds a chocolate birthday cake with lit candles that simply read “Happy Birthday.”

It’s easy to say that Ronald had a lot of fun cheering on Simone as she became the most successful U.S. gymnast in Olympic history, winning gold in the team finals with teammates Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera.

Simone previously tweeted a snapshot of her father watching her compete through binoculars while her mother Nellie beamed. Simone’s husband Jonathan Owens was also sitting with her happy parents.

“My dad and his binoculars are soooo incredibly cute,” tweeted Simone.
She won four medals in Paris before competing in the sixth and final event of the 2024 Games on Monday, August 5.

Biles re-emerged as the star of the U.S. women’s gymnastics team, proving that she had retained all of her brilliance from Tokyo 2020, when she was forced to leave the team for mental health reasons.

With gold in the vault, gold in the all-around and gold in the team final, she has now won 11 gold medals at the Olympic Games and 32 in her career.

She also won silver in the floor exercise, defeating Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade. This was her second Olympic silver medal and her sixth overall. She has also won two Olympic bronze medals and five in her career.

Speaking to Hoda Kotb today after her performance at the Games, the 27-year-old said she would not be where she is today without the support of her father and mother Nellie Biles.

When Biles was six years old, she and Adria were adopted by her biological grandfather, Ronald Biles, and his wife, Nellie Biles.

The girls were living in foster families at the time because their biological mother was addicted to drugs and alcohol and was often in prison.

However, under the couple’s care, Biles discovered gymnastics and was strongly encouraged to continue.
