As a standout safety, Delhomme attracted a lot of interest, receiving scholarship offers from 20 programs, including Auburn, Florida State, Michigan and Penn State.

On May 30, Delhomme named the top six: Maryland, Ohio State, Alabama, Virginia Tech, Virginia and Syracuse. Over the next four weekends, he visited Maryland, Ohio State, Virginia and Virginia Tech, his four finalists on Decision Day.

“I like the atmosphere, I love the camaraderie of the team and then I like the connection that the coaches have with the players,” Delhomme told Rivals about his decision to choose Maryland.

With Delhomme on board, Maryland now has 22 talents who have verbally committed to 2025. The class ranks 8th in the Big Ten in the composite rankings and 23rd nationally.
