McDonald’s expands offer for $5 savings menus
McDonald’s is extending its $5 savings menu beyond its four-week period. The fast-food chain has announced the price change for more than 90 percent of its restaurants.

McDonald’s unveiled a new hamburger in Canada on Monday that could soon cross the border and appear on menus at 42,000 McDonald’s restaurants across the country.

What is the Big Arch?
According to a Reddit user in Canada, the burger is the result of a mix between a double Quarter Pounder and a Big Mac.
The sandwich consists of two quarter-pound patties, three slices of white processed cheese, crispy onions, onion strips, pickles, lettuce and a spicy Big Arch sauce, all on a sesame poppy seed bun.
“We’ve heard our guests’ requests loud and clear and know they want a larger burger on our menu. We’re excited to offer Canadians this new global menu item,” said Alyssa Buetikofer, chief marketing officer at McDonald’s Canada, in a press release. “This satisfying burger combines the familiar McDonald’s flavors our fans know and love with some unique new ingredients, including a flavorful new burger sauce developed specifically for the Big Arch.”
How many calories does a Big Arch have?
Seriously? When you go to McDonald’s to eat, you don’t count calories or it’s your cheat day.

The Big Arch isn’t the only “big thing” being introduced at McDonald’s. The Chicken Big Mac will be coming soon.
