Beach town Up North’s wooded art trail gets new artwork

LUDINGTON, MI – There are three new things along a wooded art trail in this northern Michigan beach town.

Ludington’s cARTier Trail just got three new pieces of art. The new works replace the previous pieces that were featured on the trail.

The Ludington Area Center for the Arts (LACA) Art Trail runs along the one-mile loop of the popular Cartier Park Pathway. Each installation is 4′ x 3′ and is displayed in a metal frame. The artwork is replaced annually.

“I hope the cARTier Trail continues to add to the uniqueness of our community while fostering a community where arts and culture bring us together, nourish the creative spirit and spur community growth,” said Andrew Skinner, executive director of LACA.
