Police: Everett man sold meth and fentanyl from motel room

An Everett man was arrested at the end of a months-long drug investigation on suspicion of selling drugs from a motel room.

According to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, detectives were investigating a man who was believed to be selling drugs out of a motel room at the Sunrise Inn in Everett, near Evergreen Way and Casino Road. Investigators believed the man had been supplying users in the area for several months.

Detectives identified the suspect and conducted a high-risk traffic stop on him on Friday, August 23.

According to authorities, the man had a stash of fentanyl on his lap when he was stopped and was reportedly on his way to a drug deal.

Police arrested him and confiscated a gun, drugs, and drug money. Investigators then obtained a search warrant for his motel room, where they seized more drugs.

In total, the authorities seized 2.5 kg of fentanyl powder, 700 fentanyl tablets and 200 g of meth, heroin and crack cocaine.

The Everett man was booked into the Snohomish County Jail, but the sheriff’s office did not specify any charges. The case remains under investigation.
