(MENAFN-IANS) Mumbai, August 27 (IANS) – Actor Ishaan Khatter, who attended his niece Misha’s grand birthday bash, has said that he may let the ‘kids’ be his new stylists from now on.
Misha, the daughter of Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor, turned eight on August 26. Ishaan, Shahid’s half-brother, shared another glimpse of the birthday party in his Instagram stories.
The picture, originally shared by Shahid’s wife Mira Rajput, shows Ishaan in a grey outfit. We can see his face covered in several bling stickers. He is wearing funky heart-shaped sunglasses and a pink bling hat.
Mira, on the other hand, is also wearing a denim outfit and has some stickers on her face.
Mira captioned the post, “Featuring Chachi 420… Ishaan Khatter.”
Ishaan re-shared it and wrote, “Yes, I think I will let kids be my stylists from now on.”
Mira also shared more glimpses of the birthday decorations. There is a neon sign that reads “Bling it up Mishas era.” We can also spot several funky sunglasses, hats, stickers and a mirror on the table.
Shahid’s stepsister Sanah Kapur also took to Instagram and gave a glimpse into Misha’s birthday.
The photos show actress Supriya Pathak posing with her daughter Sanah at the celebration. Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapur married Supriya in 1988.
Sanah wrote in the caption, “We were properly ‘Bejeweled’ when my Mishu turned 8 in true Swiftie fashion! Here’s to an amazing ‘August’ day and memories that will last ‘All To Well’ (Taylor Swift, family, birthday party, sparkle, glitter).”
On a personal level, Shahid married Mira in July 2015. The couple has two children – a daughter, Misha, and a son, Zain.
The 28-year-old actor Ishaan made his first film appearance as a child in the 2005 film “Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!” He made his debut as a leading actor in Majid Majidi’s drama “Beyond the Clouds” in 2017.
Ishaan then starred in the 2018 romantic drama Dhadak, written and directed by Shashank Khaitan. The film was a remake of the Marathi film Sairat. It marked the debut of actress Janhvi Kapoor. Actors like Ashutosh Rana, Ankit Bisht, Shridhar Watsar, Kshitij Kumar and Aishwarya Narkar were seen in pivotal roles.
He has also acted in films such as Khaali Peeli, Phone Bhoot and most recently Pippa, a biographical war film about the life of Captain Balram Singh Mehta of the 45th Indian Cavalry Regiment.
Next up for Ishan is The Perfect Couple, an upcoming mystery drama series starring Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Dakota Fanning and Eve Hewson.
Shahid will next be seen as a cop in the upcoming adrenaline-pumping action thriller ‘Deva’. The film also stars Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati.
Deva is directed by Rosshan Andrews and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur. The film promises to be an action-packed rollercoaster ride full of thrills and drama. It is scheduled to release on February 14, 2025.
