How to submit an image
Upload your images via BBC Weather Watchers or send us an email to [email protected]For inspiration: see some top tips by three of England’s most famous photographers.
When sending images via email, please be sure to include the following information:
- The full name of the person who took the pictures (as that person owns the copyright)
- Confirmation that the copyright holder has given the BBC permission to use its images in all its output
- Location, date and time the pictures were taken
- Your telephone number for a follow-up call if necessary
- Any further details about the images that might be useful to us
Please note that while we welcome all of your images, we are more likely to use those taken in the last week.

If you submit an image, you do so in accordance with the BBC Terms and Conditions and the BBC Privacy Policy.
By contributing to Hampshire & Isle of Wight’s Big Picture, you grant us a royalty-free, non-exclusive license to publish and otherwise use the materials in any way we wish and in any media throughout the world.
Please note, however, that you will still own copyright to any submissions you make to Hampshire & Isle of Wight’s Big Picture and we will publish your name if your picture is accepted.
The BBC cannot guarantee that all images will be used and we reserve the right to edit your comments.
At no time should you endanger yourself or others, take unnecessary risks, or violate any law when collecting media of any kind.
