Britney, 42, shared a short clip of herself in a Versace dress on Instagram, although this time the once floor-length dress was noticeably shorter.

The famous hitmaker was feeling like herself in the clip as she smiled and tossed her long blonde hair to the side while giving her fans a glimpse of her dress.

“Updated version of my 2002 Versace dress,” Britney wrote in the caption.

“I’m no Blake Lively, but I like to… show off my legs,” she added.

The dress Britney wore at the Versace Spring 2002 Runway Show in Milan was once again the talk of the town after 36-year-old Blake wore it at the New York premiere of It Ends with Us.

“It’s Britney’s real dress,” the former Gossip Girl colleague told People on the red carpet.

Blake loved the Princess of Pop’s dress and gushed about the look. She told the outlet, “It should be hanging in the Smithsonian or the Met,” but then added, “I’m wearing that. I feel so happy!”

The Hollywood star, who is married to Ryan Reynolds, also paid tribute to the legendary artist in her Instagram stories.

“The mood of today. The ultimate queen who made us all shine and made us write and share our stories,” she explained.

Blake also praised Britney for “inspiring in us a desire to shine and awe with strength, joy and incredible hard work.”

Argument on set

While promoting the new film, Blake and the rest of the cast of It Ends With Us have excluded star and director Justin Baldoni from press interviews and red carpet appearances.

They even unfollowed him on social media, but he still follows them.

Fans noticed that the film’s 40-year-old male lead, Justin, was left out and searched TikTok for clues as to the cause of the dispute.

It ends with the occupation of “US”

“It Ends With Us” is a film based on the novel of the same name by Colleen Hoover and features an all-star cast.

Blake Lively – Lily Bloom (also producer)

Brandon Sklenar – Atlas Corrigan

Justin Baldoni – Ryle Kincaid (also director)

Hasan Minhaj – Marshell

Jenny Slate – Allysa

A source told the Hollywood Reporter that “there was a rift among the filmmakers during post-production, resulting in two different cuts of the film.”

Justin directed and starred in the film, while Blake starred and produced it.

Blake even brought in her husband Ryan to write a key scene at the beginning of the film.

“We help each other. He works on everything I do. I work on everything he does. So his victories and his celebrations are mine and mine are his,” she told E! News.

Ryan wrote a lot of dialogue for the rooftop scene, even though the screenplay for It Ends With Us was written by Christy Hall.

However, insiders told the outlet that he did not write the entire scene.

Because Blake served as a producer on the film, she had a lot of say in the creative direction, allowing the star to create his own version of the film.

Sources told THR that Blake “commissioned a cut of the film from editor Shane Reid, who edited Deadpool & Wolverine and edited the Lively-directed music video for Taylor Swift’s I Bet You Think About Me.”

However, it is not clear whether her cut, edited by Oona Flaherty and Robb Sullivan, was the final one.

An insider downplayed the rumors of friction, saying it was normal for there to be multiple cuts of a film, but that the team agreed on the final cut.

MORE DRAMA

In a report uploaded by DailyMail on Friday, insiders revealed further information about what happened during filming.

A source told the news agency about his alleged handling of sensitive issues such as domestic violence.

The film is based on the successful book by Colleen Hoover and is about Lily Bloom, played by Blake, a florist who falls in love with a neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid.

During their relationship, a kind of toxic waste developed and domestic violence occurred.

The insider said: “In the scenes depicting abuse, Justin failed to consider Blake’s character’s perspective, instead focusing solely on what he believed was the violent man’s point of view.

“His approach was very chauvinistic and created a tense atmosphere on set.

“Making such a serious and important film about domestic violence without giving women the opportunity to be involved in the process is disturbing.”

The source also claimed that Justin “didn’t recognize” Blake and Colleen’s roles on set.

They were both producers and writers.

The source also claimed that Justin took her requests for rewrites “very personally.”

The insider said: “Without Colleen’s book, none of this would have been possible.

“Parts of the film were rewritten under Colleen’s direction – that had to be done.

“He took her script decisions very personally, even though they weren’t meant that way.”
