There were plenty of jokes after South Africans got hold of some behind-the-scenes photos at the Miss Universe Nigeria beauty pageant.

Just days before the Miss Universe Nigeria beauty pageant, internet users got a glimpse into the preparations for the competition and what to expect on August 31, 2024.
Following Chidimma Adetshina’s controversial entry into the pageant, the beauty pageant has become the talk of the town on social media as many South Africans share their thoughts on the outcome of the pageant.

In a post shared by Twitter (X) user qhamadlula_, they posted snapshots from the ladies’ first day of camp and orientation, where they sat in a hall with judges, the media, and a small catwalk.
Chidimma is seen sitting among the participants with a faint smile and wearing a sash with the inscription “Taraba”, a state in northeast Nigeria where her father is believed to be from:
Mzansi comments on Miss Universe Nigeria
South Africans compared the pageant to Miss South Africa, saying the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant was run on a low budget and that Chidimma probably regretted taking part.
