Tourmates Bush and Jerry Cantrell have a connection to “John Wick” – 98KUPD – Arizona’s Real Rock

In addition to the current joint tours, bush And Alice in ChainsJerry Cantrell have one more thing in common: They both recorded songs for the John Wick Movies.

The band “Glycerine” contributed the song “Bullet Holes” John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellumwhile the “Rooster” rocker “A Job to Do” for John Wick: Chapter 2.

Rossdale also has a connection to Reeves, he played with the matrix Star in the 2005 film Constantine. In another twist of fate, the Constantine Crew imagined future John Wick director Chad Stahelskiwhich, as Rossdale jokes, should have earned him a role in the franchise.

“Yes, I was disappointed that I was not killed inJohn-Wick 4,” says Rossdale. “I don’t know what happened. Chad forgot that I know a few things.”

While Bush and Cantrell John Wick songs together on their tour, they have shared the stage at least once during the current tour. Similar to the John Wick The films contain many chapters about Bush and Alice in Chains’ collaboration on stage.

“I toured with Alice in Chains, I sang with Alice in Chains last summer,” Rossdale says. “(Cantrell) played with Bush, sang with Bush, it was really fun. People love it when you take turns and play with other people in their sets.”

Bush and Cantrell’s tour continues in Charlotte on Monday.
