PTI forms committee headed by Arif Alvi to resolve party disputes

In a recent development, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has set up a committee headed by former President Arif Alvi to resolve internal differences, ARY News reported.

This development follows the recent leak of messages between Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan and PTI leader Raoof Hasan about Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi.

The leaked messages also included a request from Aleema Khan to Raoof Hasan to stop spreading Bushra Bibi’s message about meeting Imran Khan in prison as it had reportedly caused confusion.

Furthermore, Aleema Khan called the leaked message “stupid” and asked Hasan not to spread it further.

Furthermore, in the message, Bushra Bibi alleged that she was banned from meeting Imran Khan in prison and that pressure was put on him to mistreat him.

What will the committee do?

Meanwhile, this committee is tasked with investigating and resolving party disputes and is expected to come up with recommendations within a week. Arif Alvi will head the committee, which will work with PTI leaders and stakeholders to discuss their concerns.

In addition, PTI delegates also met with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman to discuss possible cooperation and resolve differences.

These two parties explored possibilities for joint efforts, including the formation of committees to facilitate cooperation. PTI suggested working together in Parliament to challenge the government more effectively, while JUI-F representatives pointed out that any decision would be preceded by further internal discussions.
