My co-host Evan McPhillips knows Zac Robinson, the Falcons’ new offensive coordinator, personally, and I’m super excited to see what he does for Kyle Pitts. But more importantly, I’m really excited to see what he does for Bajon Robinson.
I think those two guys are in for some big years for the Atlanta Falcons. Now, my division winner is not the Atlanta Falcons, but I still think the Falcons are going to field a really, really, really good offense. You know, I know a lot of people like to rant about PFF and stuff like that, but when you have somebody that’s willing to adapt their coaching style to the modern NFL game, right, and understands the game schemes and also understands the perspective of a quarterback, Zac Robinson was a quarterback in the National Football League for several years, but he understands the game.

From a football perspective, from a quarterback perspective, when you have a player with that background and that experience, even more so than a former running back coach or a former running back or a former wide receiver, they can basically tailor their game plan to make their quarterback’s life easier.
When I look at a guy like Zac Robinson and you put him with a guy like Kirk Cousins, and you look at the myriad weapons of Drake London, Kyle Pitts, Bijan Robinson, all these different guys that he has at his disposal. I think the Falcons offense could be lethal this year, but I really believe the workload that we’re giving Bijan Robinson this year is going to put him in the conversation for some, some, some pretty high awards.
I don’t understand why Arthur Smith couldn’t get the most out of this offense and even more out of this guy. A guy like Zac Robinson, the cool thing about new offensive coordinators coming in for the first time is that they’re adaptable. They’re willing to work with you. It’s not like they’re set in their ways.
It’s like you go through this process together. I’m really, really willing to bet that Kyle Pitts hits the 1,000-yard mark. I really believe that because he’s still a mismatch and that’s why they made a premium pick on the guy because they recognized what kind of talent he has.
I think Bijan is going to be a problem, and you know, what’s crazy about that? Not just in the running game, but in the passing game last game. I really believe Robinson is going to take the next step, and I’m just excited to see his workload increase in this offense, but I’m a big believer in the Falcons offense this year led by new offense creator Zach Robinson.
Do you see this as a breakout potential or will Zac Robinson struggle in his first year as offensive coordinator? I’m really, really excited about Zach Robinson and this Falcons offense and believe they’re going to breakout.
