5 ITA Airways

Italy’s national carrier ITA Airways ranks fifth among the airlines with the most flights with the Airbus A330neo. The airline has 514 scheduled flights with its fleet of A330neo wide-body aircraft in September 2024. For more information, see the table below:

According to ch-aviation, ITA Airways is a pure Airbus operator with a fleet of 104 aircraft. The majority of the airline’s widebody fleet consists of Airbus A330 jets, including eleven Airbus A330neo and seven older generation Airbus A330-200s. ITA Airways’ A330neo fleet will soon be expanded as the airline has ordered six A330neo.

ITA Airways has an extensive long-haul network through North America, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and South America.


Examples of routes on which the airline uses its A330neo wide-body aircraft include Rome (FCO) to Boston (BOS), Rome to Chicago O’Hare (ORD) and Rome to New York (JFK), among others. It is worth noting that its Airbus A350 fleet covers even longer routes, including Rome (FCO) to Tokyo (HND).

Cebu Pacific is another airline that operates the most flights in September with its Airbus A330neo fleet. The Philippine flag carrier operates a total of 636 scheduled flights, with the A330neo aircraft offering over 270,000 seats.

Cebu Pacific’s only wide-body aircraft are Airbus A330s. The airline operates a total of 10 A330s, including nine A330neos and one A330-300. According to ch-aviation, the airline’s A330neos can accommodate up to 459 passengers in a single-class cabin.

According to ch-aviation, Condor has a total of 17 Airbus A330neo and a single Airbus A330-200 leased under a wet lease agreement. The airline’s A330neo can carry 310 passengers in a three-class cabin: 30 in business class, 64 in economy plus and 216 in economy class.

The Portuguese airline is another that will be offering many flights in September with its Airbus A330neo. TAP Portugal has planned a total of 955 flights with this wide-body aircraft, making it second on the list.

Delta Air Lines tops the list of airlines with the most flights with its fleet of Airbus A330neo aircraft. According to Cirium, Delta will operate 1,287 scheduled flights in September 2024. In addition, the Atlanta-based airline will offer more than 360,000 seats in the first month of fall.

Delta operates 29 Airbus A330neo, 31 older generation Airbus A330-300 and 11 Airbus A330-200. The airline’s A330neo can accommodate up to 281 passengers in a four-class cabin, including 29 in Delta One Suites, 28 in Delta Premium Select, 56 in Delta Comfort and 168 in the main cabin.
