New regional trade show in Michigan gains momentum ahead of 2025 debut

The Great Lakes Boutique & Gift Show is gaining traction throughout the Midwest and beyond. Just seven months before the show opened, all 100 exhibitor booths were already booked. Now the show is moving to the main exhibit hall and adding another 20 exhibitor booths that are filling up quickly.

Show organizer Great Lakes Promotions’ strong marketing campaigns have brought the show’s brand to national attention, and many new first-time exhibitors, manufacturer rep groups, artisans and wholesale companies from Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, Florida, Virginia, Connecticut, New Jersey and Montana will be on hand to exhibit. Industry professionals, buyers and retailers throughout the Great Lakes region have provided very positive feedback and are registering for the new Cash & Carry and Order Writing show, according to show organizers.

“Shoppers and retailers throughout the Great Lakes region have given very positive feedback and are signing up for the new Cash & Carry and Order Writing show.”

The show began narrowing product categories and textiles to offer a wider selection of giftware, souvenirs, apparel, bath and body, seasonal items, crafts, home decor, outdoor and garden, bags and totes, delicatessen, jewelry, books, cards, stationery and more. Companies that will exhibit at the show include True North Candle Company, Modgy, Kurt Adler, Pearls & Camo, Freshwater Crew, Dominque Bags, Great Coast, Wood Chart, Woodlander Workshop, Soaring Suds, Creemers Enterprises, and local and regional manufacturer rep groups representing over 70 different giftware brands.

The new trade fair was first announced in March and by mid-May over 70 percent of the 99 available exhibition stands were “fully booked without advertising”.

The gift show will be held February 25-27, 2025 at the Kalamazoo Convention Center, 2900 Lake St. Kalamazoo, Michigan.
