Rapper Juvenile got into a heated argument with airline crew this week that resulted in him storming off a plane.
The American Airlines flight, which took off on Wednesday, was traveling from New Orleans to Dallas.
Juvenile, whose real name is Terius Gray, took his seat in first class next to his wife Shadonna Jones.
But when crew members tried to demote the rapper to coach, things went wrong.

“Do you all hear that?” Juvenile said in an Instagram Live on board the plane.
“Man, they’re trying to kick me off the plane. They’re trying to get me out of first class,” he added.
The teen’s wife was not asked to change her seat by American Airlines staff because she could be heard saying in the background, “I’m his wife, so how can you downgrade him and I could still stay?”
As tension mounted, Juvenile added: “They’re not going to put me on a bus. Nothing like this has ever happened to me in my life.”
The rapper then told the crew members that they would regret choosing him: “I’m famous. There will be consequences because I’m leaving the plane. I’m not going to let you disrespect me like that.”
“I will not allow you to single me out of all the people on the plane and treat me with disrespect, so I will leave the plane. You will not treat me with disrespect.”
Instead of moving, Juvenile decided to leave the plane with his wife, but not quietly.

“Of all the people on the plane, you chose a celebrity,” said the 49-year-old as he disembarked.
Juvenile was still angry at American Airlines after he got off the plane.
“Fuck American Airlines. All the money I spent with you guys is bitch,” he said in a second clip posted on Instagram.
“You want to put me in economy class, asshole? I’ve never flown in economy class before. I feel like I’m being ripped off.”
According to American Airlines, the rapper was not specifically selected but was chosen through an automated process.

The flight was downgraded from an Airbus A320 to an Airbus A319, which meant fewer First Class seats were available than originally planned.
An American Airlines spokesperson told UNILAD: “American Airlines is committed to providing a positive experience for every traveler and we apologize for Mr. Gray’s recent experience with us.”
“An unplanned change in aircraft type impacted his seat allocation and we regret that he was not informed of this prior to boarding. A member of our team has spoken to Mr Gray personally to clarify the situation.”
