“I’m so excited to see you, even if I’m saving my tears for later. I wade through the emotions as I walk past your now way too clean room, the house is too quiet without your laughter, and Chief and I already miss the familiar scent of your Sol de Janeiro body spray,” Tavia’s tribute continued.

The post began with a photo of the mother-daughter duo standing in front of Ava’s side of the room, which features a bed decorated with pink floral sheets, a monogrammed pillow, a matching nightstand stool and a neon sign with her name on it.

The college student, wearing black gym clothes, proudly posed in front of the area for a solo photo that showed her vanity, equipped with a pink wheelchair and a lighted mirror, next to a white cabinet with a pink coffee maker.

In another photo, Tavia took a photo of her daughter with her new roommate, who had a similar room setup.

The mother of three concluded her tribute by sharing what she loves about the lessons Ava will β€œlearn about God’s faithfulness in the coming months.”
