Superhero Run; Bluey’s Big Game; Dachshund Race

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT)—Superheroes take over Versailles, Bluey comes to Lexington, and Dachshunds run! These are just some of the fun things to do in Central Kentucky this weekend.

You can put on your cape and run to the finish line at this weekend’s CASA Superhero Run!

WKYT is proud to partner with this Saturday’s family-friendly event.

It takes place at Winstar Farm in Versailles.

There will also be costume contests, petting zoos, train rides and more.

The money raised will benefit CASA of Lexington, which cares for abused and neglected children in our area.

Registration possible on site. Admission from 7 a.m.

Everyone’s favorite Heeler family comes to the Lexington Opera House.

“Bluey’s Big Play: The Stage Show” runs on Saturday and Sunday.

There will be six shows and tickets are still available.

You can find them on the Lexington Opera House website.

The Vienna Dog Races & Doggie Dash 2024 will take place this Sunday at the Red Mile.

In addition to the races, there will be live harness racing, face painting, live music and more.

Registration is $25 and is available online on a first-come, first-served basis.

Admission is free for spectators.

Post time is 1pm

All proceeds benefit the Lexington Humane Society.
