CDB Aviation delivers A330-300P2F to MNG Airlines

CDB Aviation, an Irish subsidiary of China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co., has announced the delivery of an Airbus A330-300 passenger-to-freight (P2F) aircraft to new customer MNG Airlines.

The A330 P2F aircraft, which offers more cargo volume and lower cost per tonne than other available freighter types with similar range, will help drive MNG Airlines’ growth and achieve its fleet modernisation goals.

“We are delighted to welcome MNG Airlines as our newest customer in the EMEA region as we continue to expand our fleet of efficient mid-size freighters that provide our airline customers with the capacity they need to modernize their fleets and improve cargo operations,” commented Jie Chen, Chief Executive Officer of CDB Aviation.

Ali Sedat Özkazanç, CEO of MNG Airlines, said: “As the aviation industry continues to change, cargo transportation is playing an increasingly important role. We are further improving its adaptability to the dynamic environment of the industry by adding new aircraft to our growing fleet.

“At the same time, by modernising our fleet, we are expanding our regional and international network by improving our service quality with this new aircraft and the other A330 P2Fs already in our fleet.

“This delivery from CDB Aviation to MNG Airlines strengthens the cooperation between the two companies and represents an essential step for MNG Airlines’ growth strategy.

“The delivery of the Airbus A330-300 P2F increases our cargo capacity and contributes to our sustainability goals by reducing our carbon footprint through lower fuel consumption and lower emissions. Therefore, we believe that this collaboration can set an example for other airlines in the industry.”
