Colts fans can’t help but laugh at the Texans’ embarrassment in the training room

The Indianapolis Colts’ first regular season game is in just over two weeks against the Houston Texans, so why not start trash talking right away? It’s easy to do so with division rivals, but the Texans made it even easier with their latest mistake.

JJ Watt, who played for the Texans for 10 seasons, tweeted a picture of the Texans training room when he visited the team. It was a nice photo and the purpose was mainly for Watt to be there and promote it.

Well, thanks to Travis D. Holmes on Twitter, we now know that the Houston Texans don’t know how acronyms work. Holmes zoomed in on the wall of Watts’ photo and pointed out that the acronym Houston was going for doesn’t work here.

On the wall is the word SWARM in bright red letters. Without knowing anything about this year’s Texans team, most would assume it stands for something. Well, surrounding the word SWARM on the wall is “Special Work Ethic” and below that, “Relentless Mindset.”

For those who didn’t get it, the first letter of all of these words would spell the word SWERM, not SWARM. As Homer Simpson famously says, “D’oh!”

The AFC South should be a lot of fun this year, with the Colts, Texans and Jaguars all finishing the 2023 season with wins and looking to compete again this year. Even the Titans could be an exciting team, although they seem unlikely to win the division.

Stories like this are fun because it’s a dumb mistake that even Texans fans would probably notice and be embarrassed about. Will it impact the 2024 season? I’d be pretty surprised if it did, but that doesn’t mean we can’t laugh about it.
