Teenager storms out of plane and criticizes American Airlines for forcing him to give up his first-class seat

American Airlines may have just lost a celebrity customer following a disturbing incident involving Cash Money Records artist Juvenile. The rapper was reportedly asked to move from his first class seat to economy class – with no explanation whatsoever – which immediately sparked a strong reaction from the star and his fans.

The demand made the former Hot Boy so angry that he packed up his things and immediately left the plane, documenting the entire event on his Instagram Live and promising them that they had messed with the one person.

The flight crew gave no immediate reason for the downgrade, leaving Juvenile and his wife in the dark.

To make matters worse, the request was addressed exclusively to him and not to his wife.

“Man, they want to kick me off the plane,” Juvenile said as his wife tried to reason with the flight attendant. “They want to kick me out of first class.”

When his wife asked, “Where do you want to put him?” another flight attendant replied, “We’ll put him in economy class.”

The rapper replied firmly: “They’re not putting me on a bus… nothing like that has ever happened to me in my life.”

Ms. Juvie, who also manages the rapper, emphasized: “These are our places. It says 1A and 1C.”

In the video, Juvenile – whose real name is Terius Gray – can be heard expressing his frustration to the crew. He refused to move and declared: “I’m a star. I’m telling you, there will be consequences and I’m going to get off the plane. I’m not going to let you disrespect me like that.”

The 48-year-old rapper didn’t hold back and continued: “I’m not going to let you pick me out of all the people on the plane and disrespect me. So I’m going to get off the plane.”

Then he stood up, packed his things and asked his wife to come to him.

“I think this is kind of funny, I’m not going to lie,” Juvenile remarked as he got off the plane. “Pick a celebrity out of all the people on the plane.”

After he posted the clip on Instagram, his one million followers were quick to react. Comments poured in, with one saying: “Oh no, not Americans again.”

Another noted: “Flying as a black person shouldn’t be this stressful.”

A third comment read: “A third person commented, ‘American Airlines has been treating black people really badly lately,’ and someone else commented, ‘Cousins… Can we all agree to NOT FLY AMERICAN ANYMORE??!!!”

Many fans cheered his wife because she sacrificed herself unconditionally for her husband.

“His wife means business,” commented one fan, while another added, “The importance of a black wife.”

She added: “She knows her husband and knows he probably wouldn’t have handled it that way. It could have gone all the way to the left if she hadn’t done what she did.”

In a follow-up post, Juvenile shared a screenshot of his iPhone wallet showing his extensive history of first-class flights.

“Speaking of first class…I think I know a thing or two about first class,” he said as he flipped through the tickets.

He concluded with a snarky remark: “Fuck American Airlines. … All the money I spent on you bitches. I feel like I got ripped off.”

This incident follows a similar situation involving another legendary rapper, Sandra “Pepa” Denton of Salt-N-Pepa, who was recently kicked off a Southwest flight over a seating dispute that she believes was racially motivated.

American Airlines responded to Juvenile’s post, saying, “We don’t want you to feel this way when traveling with us. DM us with your confirmation code so we can take a closer look at what happened.”

The airline also issued a statement to TMZ apologizing for the incident. “American Airlines is committed to providing a positive experience for every traveler and we apologize for (Juvenile’s) recent experience with us. An unplanned aircraft type change impacted his seat assignment and we regret that he was not informed of this prior to boarding. A member of our team has spoken personally with (Juvenile) to resolve the situation.”

Despite the incident, Juvenile managed to board another airline flight and make it to his show in Fort Worth later that evening.
