Miss Katie Sings and GRAMMY® Nominated label Platoon announces the release of the singer’s debut studio album, Just The Way You Are.
Following her initial success on YouTube, Just the Way You Are is the singer-songwriter’s first full-length album. At its core, the album is full of messages encouraging children to embrace their full selves and promote radical self-love.
Touching on themes such as processing emotions and learning from mistakes, Miss Katie Sings’ album teaches children positive life lessons and encourages them to love and accept themselves.
“With this album, I wanted to write messages that would have helped me as a child,” says Miss Katie Sings. “When life gets difficult, we often instinctively fall back on the lessons we learned in our formative years as children. I want my album to be a building block to help build self-love and a strong support as children navigate difficult moments, get to know themselves and express their feelings.”
In addition to writing and recording music, Miss Katie Sings performs across the U.S. and offers virtual programs for children ages 1-7 from around the world. Her classes include fun sing-along exercises, finger plays, and sensory exploration to encourage a deeper engagement with music as a means of self-expression.
