Demi Moore has a special birthday message for her firstborn daughter.
The Spirit Star, 61, celebrated Rumer Willis turns 36 this week and paid tribute to her with a heartfelt tribute on social media. To celebrate the occasion, she shared a sweet throwback photo of the mother-daughter duo.
On Friday, August 16, Demi – who Rumer shares with her ex-husband Bruce Willis— uploaded an old photo to Instagram of Rumer as a newborn. She rounded out the post by adding another photo of Demi hugging the grown-up Rumer on the day of her daughter’s birth. Louettain April 2023.
“Rumer, you will always be my baby! Happy birthday my love ♥️,” Demi wrote in her post on Friday, adding, “Here’s to a new year beyond expectations.”
“I love and adore you!” she added to her firstborn, the eldest of three daughters Demi has with 69-year-old Bruce. The former spouses also have daughters Explore33, and Tallulah30.
“Oh mom, I love you so much,” Rumer replied to her mother in the comments.
Scout also shared a sweet tribute for her birthday, posting an Instagram video of the two siblings spending a day together at the beach. In the light-hearted clip, Scout turned away from the camera and gave her big sister a kiss on the cheek.
In her caption, Scout called Rumer the “best mom, hottest mom, best friend, bravest, funniest, smartest sister of my dreams!”
“You are a dream @rumerwillis and I am OBSESSED with you and incredibly fascinated to be related to you,” Scout concluded with the caption.
Rumer also celebrated her birthday on her own Instagram page, sharing a smiling video from her birthday spent at the beach with her family.
“✨ 36 is the new 26 ✨,” she joked in the caption.
