“Casualty” actor Milo Clarke has revealed what happens next in the dark story of his character Teddy.
The paramedic was recently sexually assaulted by a hen party guest while trying to do his job, and he’s been in turmoil ever since after a video from the night was posted online. This week’s episode will see him attack a hospital visitor with a punch, earning him a suspension.
Speaking to TV Times about the plot, Clarke said: “He realises very quickly that his job is on the line… For Teddy, this job means everything. He has always wanted to be a great paramedic and most of his life and friendships revolve around that.”

“This is the moment when he realizes that big decisions have to be made and that things will come out of them…”
Things are expected to take a positive turn, although the actor notes that this comes with limitations.
“I can tell you that eventually he opens up and there’s a turning point where Teddy forces himself to put the whole thing as far behind him as possible,” Clarke continued.
“But it is definitely irreversible and has irreversibly changed something in him.”

Clarke also added that he would like to see Teddy rekindle his romance with Jodie at some point as he feels they would work well together.
“Even though they’re both young, they really care about each other,” he said. “Their relationship is as complex, passionate and wounded as all real relationships. I like them together.”
Accident airs on Saturday nights on BBC One and is now streaming first on BBC iPlayer, where episodes are released at 6am on the day of broadcast.
